Long time, no hello

Its been a while since my last blog post. We are all moved in. My room is looking a little like it did before. Mama has decided not to hang any of my goodies on the wall yet though because she wants to paint the walls first. I am having fun exploring my new house. My Grandma Nina's dog Princess loves spending time with Mama and me during the day. I love squatting down and looking at her. Its been fun living in Omaha again. I love spending extra time with my Grandma Nina and my Uncle TJ. Daddy is enjoying his job at Open Door Mission! He says that he loves it! I am thankful for that. Well, I hope to post pictures soon. Mama has been taking them but just hasn't hooked up her computer yet (we've been using Grandma Nina's).

My trip to Omaha

My trip to Omaha was great! It was a good time seeing my Great-Grandma Jo, Great-Uncle David, Grandma Nina, Uncle TJ, Ms. Ashley and my new cousin Preston! I got to dress up twice for Halloween; once as a cowboy and the other time as Shrek. I had a playdate with my friend Lyla, visited my friends at Open Door Mission and got to take lots of walks! Here are a few pictures from my trip!

Welcome Preston Thomas Klindt!!

My cousin Preston was born this morning at 4:12 a.m. weighing in at 9 pounds 8 ounces and was 21 inches long. TJ, Ashley and Preston are all doing well. Grandma Nina and Mama stayed at the hospital all night long praying while awaiting Preston's arrival. I got to stay at home and sleep with Daddy! I can't wait to meet my cousin! Mama took many pictures and will put them on our blog once we are back in OKC Sunday afternoon.

Birthday!!!!

I wanted to thank everyone for my wonderful birthday surprises today. I got wonderful phone calls, happy birthday songs, and so many fun books and toys! I can't wait to play with all of them! Mama wanted to put pictures on our blog to show you, but the blog is having difficulties. She says she'll put them up as soon as she can! I love you,
Benjamin

Happy Birthday to ME!!!!

I can't believe that today is all about me turning one! It has been a busy but fun day! Mama and Daddy sang me "Happy Birthday" this morning after I woke up. We all got dressed and headed to the picture store so that I could get my picture taken for my birthday. Miss Becca took my pictures again today like she did in August. She was so much fun! She made silly sounds and faces at me so that I would smile at the camera! All of my pictures will be on their website soon, so I'll show them to you when they are ready. When we were done getting my pictures taken, we headed home to get everything in the house ready for my party. Mama and Daddy did the decorating last night so Mama just did a couple of last minute things. My friends Janet, Chris and Luke were here at our house early because they came all the way from Kansas to visit me. My friends Brian, Heather and Ainsley came around 2:30. We opened presents, played and ate food together! It was time for everyone to leave before we had candles and cake, so Mama and Daddy sang to me. Mama captured it on video! I had a really great day; check out some of the pictures we took!

Mama took a picture of the clock at 1:46 a.m. That is the time I was born at one year ago.

Playing with the balloons Mama blew up before we headed out for pictures.

The wonderful spread of goodies Mama made for me and my guests.

Make a birthday wish! Do you like my crown?

Daddy helped me open my very first birthday present!

This is my new hammer. My friend Luke gave it to me!

What could this big red box be? My friend Ainsley helped me rip all the paper off!

This sports toy was in that big red box. Mama and Daddy gave it to me. I have already made many baskets in the hoop!

Mama and I snuggling after all of my guests left. I was pretty pooped!

If you check out my dropshots page, there is the video of Mama and Daddy singing to me.
Thank you again for helping make my first birthday extra special!

Celebrate Oklahoma

Yesterday Mama, Daddy, and I met friends downtown to watch the Centennial Parade. Oklahoma is 100 years old, that is really old because I will be only 1 this coming Saturday. I can't wait. Well I want to show you some of the great things I got to see today

Mama and I waiting for the parade to start

Daddy and I waiting for the parade to start

This is one of the many starts at the beginning of the parade

This is a Native American Float. Oklahoma is made up of all kinds of Tribal Nations. There are no reservations in Oklahoma, but there are 68 tribal headquarters in the state.

They even had people dressed up dancing. They had pretty costumes.

This is a oil direk. Oil is a big thing here in Oklahoma

James Garner was the Grand Marshall. He is an old actor. I am to young to know who he was but Daddy thinks that my Papa Ron would know.

We got to see a train. I want a train set when I grow up.

This is country music singer "Ty England" He could really sing.

We even got to see old fashion tractors. My uncle Ronald would have loved them

We got to see "Horton" from Dr. Seuss. The Cat in the Hat was there to but we did not get a good picture of him.

Well that is all the pictures for today. I hope you all had a great Sunday.

Love, Benjamin

Chester's Party Barn

This afternoon was super fun! Mama, Daddy and I took a drive out to Piedmont, Oklahoma where Chester's Party Barn is. It was a pretty long drive, at least I thought so. But it was worth it! Chester sure has one cool barn! I got to play with pumpkins, feed the goats, pet the horsies, get my picture taken and so much more! Here are some pictures from our exciting afternoon.

Welcome to Chester's Party Barn

Playing with the pumpkins

Feeding the goat with Daddy

Petting the miniature horsies with Daddy

In the saddle and loving it

Posing amongst the pumpkins and straw

Sitting with Mama and holding my favorite pumpkin of the day

Ride 'em cowboy

This silly sign was near the restrooms. It says, "Outhouse (That's restroom for city folk)" I think my Auntie Lori will like this because she likes silly signs!

Well, that was my wonderful afternoon. What did you get to do today?

Family Day

Today Mama, Daddy and I were able to have a family day together! It was a slow-snuggly wake-up this morning, so Mama and I snuggled under my Canada blanket that my Auntie Anne sent me.

This afternoon we went for a fun day out on the town. The best thing was shopping for my birthday party supplies! The party store was a pretty neat place. :) Although they had a lot of scary looking things for halloween. :(

Mama thought I was a very silly boy today because I found a wrapped bar of soap and started chewing on it! Mama said I hadn't done anything that deserved my mouth needing cleaned out with soap, but that it was funny anyway!

Well, its my bedtime. I hope all is well!

Gooo Biiig Reeed!

Go Big Red!

Daddy, Mama and I were in the Husker spirit on Saturday for the Nebraska Cornhusker football game. Daddy even let me wear his jersey and hat. Hopefully one day I'll fit into them properly ;)

I have also discovered head stands. I like to do them quite often! My favorite thing to do when standing on my head is play peek-a-boo with Mama!

I hope that you had a great weekend just like I did!

All my love,
Benjamin

We're back.....

.....and bearing pictures!!!

Today was a great day! Daddy took this morning off from work to spend some extra time with Mama and me. He left this afternoon to go an hour north of OKC with his staff for a staff retreat. He'll be back tomorrow around dinner time.

Mama had a dentist appointment this afternoon so I got to have a playdate with Ms. Heather and Ainsley at Ainsley's house! I had so much fun! Ainsley has some really fun toys and she shared them with me. Ms. Heather said that I was a really good boy. I didn't even cry when Mama gave me a hug and kiss goodbye!

When Mama and I got home tonight, there was a notice on our door to go to the apartment office to pick up a package....yippee! Mama knew exactly what it was. Our new camera! She was really excited to start taking pictures of me again. In fact, she took 52 pictures! Can you believe that?!?! Here are a few of them...

Singing along with Baby Tad.

Helping Baby Tad learn to dance.

Holding hands and dancing.

Giving Tad a kiss and hug.

So happy to have a new camera!

Look at my big blue tongue!

I'm so happy that you looked at my blog!

All my love,
Benjamin

P.S. I have updated the shoes and haircut blog postings with their appropriate pictures. Although they weren't taken on the actual days, I thought it would be fun to post those pictures with their stories! Enjoy!
