Winding Down

Hello!
Well, the weekend is winding down. It has been a very busy but great weekend. Mama, Daddy and I arrived here in Perth-Andover last Tuesday evening around 9 p.m. We had a great time with Papa and Grandma before the other family members started rolling in. I got to meet my Great Gramie and Great Grampie Jamer, and all of my Grandma and Papa's brothers and sisters! There were too many cousins to count! I got to spend the most time with my cousins Kelsie, Kendra and Samuel. I sure did have a lot of fun with them. Most everyone has gone home now. You might be asking what the big gathering was for?!?! Well, my Great Gramie and Great Grampie Jamer celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary! Praise God for His blessings!

Mama and Daddy have been taking lots of pictures from our trip. We won't be able to show them to you until we're back home in Oklahoma City (Mama forgot her USB cable show she can't put them on Grandma's computer).

We will be leaving Tuesday morning to go back to Portland, Maine. We're going to spend 3 1/2 days with MacKenzie, Sophie, Cat and Andy. Mama used to live with them in New York and help watch after MacKenzie and Sophie. I am excited to meet them too!

Well, I am pooped after being passed from relative to relative. I am going to head for a nap....

All my love,
Benjamin

Busy Day

Well, Mama and I had a busy day today. Daddy woke Mama up this morning at 7:30 because he wanted her to see if there really was a leak in the wall like he was hearing. Indeed, there was! So Daddy called the maintenance men at 7:30 this morning to get them over quickly. So, Mama and I had a house full of maintenance men until around 11:00 this morning! Here are a couple of pictures of the craziness!
Our carpet got so wet, they had to pull out the carpet pad and bring in this blower! It was VERY noisy....

The water soaked through the wall so much, the paint was bubbling. The men had to cut and peel away the paint so the sheetrock would dry.

In order to find the leak, they had to remove the ceiling tiles!

Mama wanted me to share these pictures with you too. She says that I am "just too cute!" If you can't read my onesie, it says "Chicks Dig My Tractor".....Mama says both of these pictures make me look like I"m up to something......

Well, that's all for now. All my love,
Benjamin

Grandma's Last Day--this time around

Today started out really nicely. I started out by praying in my sleep. Mama caught me in the act!
Then after Mama and Daddy's new bedroom furniture arrived, Grandma, Mama and I went down to Daddy's work for a tour. It was great! Grandma and Mama decided it would be a good afternoon to go walking at one of the malls here. We went walking for a couple of hours. Mama and Grandma stopped and looked in some of the stores to see if they could find any good deals on things for me. Gymboree was THE spot! Mama found a long sleeved shirt and a pullover vest for me. Grandma found me a raincoat and a cowboy hat! Here I am wearing my cowboy hat proudly. This picture was taken at dinner at the Smokey Bones BBQ Joint--go figure, cowboys and bbq!
Grandma and Daddy made May Baskets when Daddy was little. So since it is May 1, Grandma thought it would be a great idea for me to have my very first May Basket. It sure was a good idea. Look at the creation Grandma made me! She even put a couple of peppermints in it for me! Too bad I can't actually have them....
Well, its getting late and our family needs to head to bed. We have to send Grandma home tomorrow. All my love,
Benjamin
