Bike Ride

I went for a bike ride this afternoon after playing in my pool. Mama got some pictures of me.

My new pool

This morning Mama and I went for a walk to the dollar store. We had a great time because the sun was shining and the wind wasn't blowing! We needed to go to the dollar store to get a gift bag for my friend Lyla's birthday present. We found a great pool while we were there and it was packaged small enough that Mama could carry it in the bottom of the stroller.

It was also neat going to the store because we got to see a lot of motorcycles. It was such a nice day out that all of the motorcyclists met up so they could ride together. I really liked the ones with flames painted on them. We even saw a motor-tricycle!

Benjamin

Children's Hospital

This morning was my appointment at Children's Hospital to meet Dr. Danford. He is a pediatric cardiologist. My pediatrician, Dr. Arispe, heard a murmer in my heart and thought it would be a good idea to visit Dr. Danford. Daddy took the morning off from work and we all went to the hospital for my tests. Mama took some pictures from our morning.

Look Mama, goldfish! Can I have one?

The book cart came for a visit to my waiting room. I got a new book--it is all about counting

I wanted to read it right away. (At lunch, Mama read it to me about 8 times--it is that good!)

The nurse attaching all of my blue stickers getting ready for my EKG (Electro-Cardiogram)

See all of my stickers? I thought they were pretty neat at first, but I decided I didn't like them afterall. Mama blew bubbles to distract me from my test.

After my EKG, Dr. Danford sent Daddy, Mama and I for an Echo-Cardiogram. It was a lot better than the EKG because I got this neat lotion all over my chest and tummy. I also got to sing songs with Mama and Daddy while I laid on the table. The technician got over 70 pictures of my heart!

I'm a happy camper because Dr. Danford said I don't have to come back for another 5 years! Praise God for my healthy heart!

Benjamin

A Fun Day

I started this morning playing at home with Mama. But I really wanted to head out. Check it out!
I was ready with the phone, car keys and Mama's bag--ready to head out for the day

I was so pooped from playing all morning that I took a 3 hour nap!

It was a good thing I decided to have such a long nap though because I went to visit my friend Lyla. She and her Mommy took us to a park in their neighborhood. It was loads of fun. Here are some pictures from our fun afternoon!

My new shower

This afternoon was really nice outside so Grandma Nina, Mama and I spent some time outside. Mama hooked up Grandma's water wand up to the hose and I got to play with the water. It was very cold! But I had a ton of fun. Mama and Grandma had to drag me inside once I started shivering. I bet I'll get to go outside more often now because the weather is nice!

Happy May Day!

This morning was really a lot of fun. Mama and I made May baskets for a lot of people and decided to deliver them. We started at Grandma Nina's work and delivered there. We then went to Open Door Mission to deliver a basket to Daddy and Miss Amy. While we were there, we delivered May flowers to my other friends that work there. We also went to Uncle TJ's work and delivered a May basket for him to take home for Miss Ashley, Preston and him. We also delivered a May basket to Grandma Jo and Uncle David. Grandma Nina let me cut some of her tulips to deliver as well. It was a lot of fun.

I have also discovered how much I like to draw pictures. All night long I was carrying around my pencil and pad of paper. Mama and Daddy had fun watching me color and tell stories while I did so.

All my love,

Benjamin
