Family Portraits

Hi Everyone,

We're finally back online. Mama and Daddy took me to have my first professional photos taken last night. I had lots of fun and Mama and Daddy have lots of pictures to show for it. Here are a couple of my favorites

So much fun

I've been having so much fun with Mama, Daddy, Papa and Grandma that I haven't had much time for writing my blog--not to mention the internet hasn't been connected yet at our new house. We're definitely getting settled though. Mama and Daddy finished decorating my bedroom last night. I love it! The only room left to finish is their bedroom. I know Mama and Daddy are hoping to finish that up this weekend.

We had a blizzard yesterday! It was fun to stay in and snuggle everyone while playing games and reading books. We got about 13 inches of snow--along with the very blustery wind and slick ice.

I'm getting closer each day to finally rolling from my back to my belly. Mama keeps asking me to wait to finally roll over when both her and Daddy are around. I know they both want to share in my big boy moment. I also am starting to sit up on my own. I sat on Mama's lap last night without her holding me and then again when Grandma was playing with me on the floor. Its been a busy week!

Mama has been taking lots of pictures, but she'll have to post them later--we're off to play some more.

Welcome Grandma and Papa

They've arrived! After an unexpected night in Detroit, Grandma and Papa finally made it for their visit. I got to ride along with Mama and Daddy to go pick them up at the airport and give them their first squdges for their visit.

I also have had a lot of fun showing them what a big boy I am. We played with Baby Tad, sang songs, snuggled, played in my swing, and lot of other things already! I even showed Grandma how I do push ups in my crib.

We're off to go walking at the mall and to check out our new house. Tomorrow is moving day!

Sickie Day

Well, it was a sickie day for me today. I slept in with Mama this morning because I wasn't feeling too well.

Mama and I snuggled a lot today because of my fever. She called the nurse at Dr. Arispe's office to make sure that my fever wasn't too high. The nurse said that the first 24 hours after vaccinations, kids can get fevers. So Mama and I just took it easy today. I got to take a lukewarm bath and splash around--that helped bring my fever down, besides the yummy grape tylenol Mama gives me.

I am hoping that tomorrow I feel better because my Grandma Sheila and Papa Ron are coming to visit me! The last time I saw them was over the Thanksgiving holiday.

I've grown a lot since then and can't wait to show them! I also can't wait to give them a squdge. I'd better head to bed now so that I have energy for tomorrow.

My BIG day

It was a very busy day for me. I finally turned 4 months old. Mama and Daddy think I'm growing super fast--I am having fun doing it!

Mama and I spent the day together. I did a lot of playing and napping--don't you wish you could nap like I do?

Daddy came home so that we could all go to Dr. Arispe's office for my 4 month well-check visit. I am a BIG boy! I now weigh 18 pounds 4 1/4 ounces and am 25 3/4 inches long.

Dr. Arispe said that since I am so healthy with drinking the milk Mama gives me, that I don't need to start on cereal or food yet. But that if Mama and Daddy thought I was super hungry, they could try it. Well, since I heard Dr. Arispe say that, I figured I would be a very hungry boy tonight. So Mama went and got some rice cereal for me and gave me some. I didn't quite know what to think at first, but I ended up really enjoying it!

It was a quiet evening with Mama giving me my bath, singing me my songs, and praying with me as I drifted off to sleep. I am looking forward to another BIG day tomorrow!

Meet my friend

Baby Tad! I love singing songs with him. Mama helps me push the buttons on his bib when we play. I got Baby Tad from my Great Aunt Sue for Christmas--what a great present!

Comfy Cozy

I finally got to ride in my new carseat! Daddy installed it last night so that when we went to church this morning I could be safe and comfy. Oh, it was like the cadillac of carseats...although I don't really know what a cadillac is ;) Mama thinks we'll need to get some window shades for the windows though- now that I don't have the shade on my carseat. I'm excited because I get to use my seat again when we go to Bible Study tonight.
This morning at church was my first day in the nursery. Mama thought it would be fun to help out in the nursery at the first church service. There were 5 other babies in there with me. Mama had two other helpers with her though so that we all had a grown-up. I did so good!! I played in the swing, laid on the floor and played with a kick toy, and I got to try out an Exersaucer! I loved the exersaucer! Mama is going to look for one for me when ReRuns comes in March--she finds lots of goodies for me there!
