Storm Cleanup

There was a big storm here in Omaha last Friday. Our neighbor Miss Betty has a tree in her front yard that had 4 big branches break and fall right onto 84th street. The wind during the storm caused many trees to uproot all over the city. Mama and I got to watch the big digger and dump truck come to clean up Miss Betty's tree branches this morning.

I also had a great time banging the pot and pan lids together! Mama took a video of me--I was really noisy!

A trip to the zoo

This morning Mama and I dropped Daddy off at work and headed to the zoo. We met up with some friends and had a great time! This was my first trip to the Omaha zoo! I got to see monkies, ducks, sharks, sting rays, a sea turtle, a puffer fish, two ostrich with their eggs and parrots.

A BIG help

Today I got to be a big help to Daddy. After Mama rearranged my bedroom, I got to help Daddy screw my dresser into the wall. Daddy and Mama says this will help so that my dresser doesn't hurt me. Mama had to rearrange my room a big so that my baby brother can share it with me!

A Busy Night

During dinner tonight, the tornado sirens started sounding. Grandma Nina, Mama and I headed down to the basement while Daddy checked the TV for the weather report. We were in a tornado warning. We had a few tornados hit around us in Omaha and the surrounding areas, but we were safe! Thank you Jesus!

Road Trip

This weekend Mama, Daddy and I went for a road trip to Grand Island, Nebraska. It wasn't too far, only 3 hours in the car, due West. Daddy had to speak at a church in Central City, Nebraska on Sunday so we made a weekend out of it. Mama and Daddy have friends named Gary and Sue that we got to stay with. Happy Friday

I woke up this morning before Daddy left for work, so he helped me do my hair. He put foam and spray in it and it got nice and spikey.

Mama and I spent some time snuggling on the couch and we took a picture together. After that, Mama let me take a few pictures. I rested the camera on my legs and pushed the button.

I also enjoyed reading the newspaper! It was the funny page of course.

I also have been learning how to sleep in my big boy bed. I have spent two nights there and today was my first nap time. It was a little rough at first, but I settled in.

Park and Pool

This afternoon Mama, Grandma Nina and I went to the park. We didn't stay too long though because all of the play equipment was really hot from the sunshine.

So when we got home Mama said that I could go for a swim in my pool. It was a lot of fun!
