Too cute!

Mama said I was too cute this morning. When I woke up at 6:00 am, I didn't want to lay back in my crib by myself. So Mama brought me into bed with her. I snuggled right close with my blanket. I was even hugging it. Mama decided she needed a picture. I decided to open my eyes right when she snapped this shot!

Daddy and Me Day

I got to spend the whole day to day with just Daddy. It was loads of fun! We played lots of games together. Mama was at Women of Faith for the day, or else she would have joined us in the fun!

All my love,
Benjamin

Squirt Squirt

This morning I figured out how to use my squirt bottle. The bottle was supposed to be for wetting down my hair, but it is so much more fun spraying it on my face! I was laughing hysterically!

Benjamin

Can you see the water on my face?

I even figured out how to spray it in my mouth!

Helping Mama

Mama let me help her tonight with dinner. It was so much fun that I got to wear these potholders. The best part about it, these potholders made giving high-fives so much more fun!

Benjamin

Easter Egg Hunt #2

Wow, I'm such a blessed kid! I got to participate in my second egg hunt of the Easter season! My friends, the Friesens, invited me and a bunch of other kids out to their house for lunch and an egg hunt. Before lunch was ready, we got to look at all of their neat farm animals. I was quite amazed at the goats. They were so silly! They kept head-butting each other in order to get the feed first. Aflac the duck was also quite amusing. Aflac decided he wanted the feed to and started pecking at one of the goats! After lunch was over, all of the kids gathered for the egg hunt. The kids under 3 yrs. old got to start in a special spot and then we could move on to the big kids section. I found quite a few eggs. The silver one I found was an extra-special egg. Check out my loot!

All my love,
Benjamin

Aren't these goats neat?

I'm so silly, I thought I could eat these eggs! Do you see the special silver egg in my basket?

I got a neat art package for finding the silver egg. It has a coloring book, crayons, a watercolor book with paints and a sticker book! Wow!

Enjoying my loot! I was so pooped that I fell asleep before we got to the end of the Friesen's driveway!

Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Friesen!

Me and my cousin

I know you've met my cousin Preston before, but here is an updated picture of us. I got to spend tonight playing at his house! It was loads of fun. Mama, Uncle TJ, Preston and I went for a walk, played games, and sung a couple of songs! I can't wait until my next visit!
All my love,
Benjamin

17 months old

I am 17 months old today! Wow, I am growing up so fast and changing every day. Mama says that I am starting to look more like a little man rather than a baby. What do you think?

Egg-stra Special Egg Hunt

This morning Mama, Daddy and I went to Open Door Mission to participate in the Egg-stra Special Egg Hunt. I took my own special Easter Egg Basket and dressed warm because it was a bit chilly out. I got to meet the Easter Bunny, color a Hobart picture, decorate my basket with stickers, and hunt for some Easter eggs! It was a great day!

Thank you Open Door Mission!

Benjamin

Nina's Day Off

Today Grandma Nina had the day off from work. So I got to spend some extra time with Grandma. We ran some errands around town, including to the Home Depot. I got to sit on the riding lawn mowers and help Mama and Nina pick our seeds to plant for our summer garden. I got to help Mama water the starter sets and push the seeds into the soil! It was loads of fun.

All my love,
Benjamin

My new bike

Today was a beautiful day. The sun was shining and the birds were singing!

While Grandma Sheila and Papa Ron were here, they bought me a bike. It is a big boy bike! They told Mama and Daddy that they wanted to get it for me as an early birthday gift. They said that I could ride it though when the weather was nice instead of waiting till October. Daddy and Mama put it together for me today!

My feet don't quite reach the peddles yet, but my thumb sure can ring the bell!

Thank you Grandma and Papa!

All my love,
Benjamin

The Croup

Yep, that's right. I have croup. It came on yesterday afternoon around dinner time and hasn't stopped yet. Mama and Daddy were up most of the night with me helping to keep me calm and relaxed. We got to spend some time snuggling in the steamy bathroom to help clear my airways. The nurse on-call told Mama to take me to the doctor today. We have an appointment for 1:40 this afternoon. I hope that Dr. Arispe can help me feel better! Will you be praying for me?

All my love,
Benjamin

Great Grandma Jo

I'm sure you've already met my Great Grandma Jo. She is a really neat gal! I like going to her house because she lets me ride Jimmy the rocking horse. I'm starting to get really good at riding him that Mama doesn't even need to hold on to me or Jimmy anymore. She does help me get my leg over Jimmy's saddle though still. Soon I'll be tall enough that I'll be able to do that by myself also!

Grandma Nina and I sat for a couple of pictures with my Great Grandma Jo. Enjoy!

Benjamin

We'll miss you!

My Grandma Sheila and Papa Ron visited me for one whole week! I had loads of fun playing games with them!

We went on walks together, played at the park, went to the mall and even ate at the Cheesecake Factory!

I can't wait until my next visit with them!
